The Venspirator™ FR (First Responder) is an Automated Pressure-Controlled Resuscitation Device for First Responders that will allow for continuous automated ventilation from point of injury in the field, to transport by helicopter and ambulance, to arrival at hospitals. Current methods for transport ventilation involve the complete detaching of a patient from an oxygen source to transfer to another oxygen source. The Venspirator™ FR is the opportunity to increase survival in the field by eliminating those critical seconds where a patient is off of oxygen while also eliminating bag-resuscitation. Being lightweight with small “fit in your hand” portability, and ability to run without electricity, our technology is able to provide more critical care with less resources.
